Russia & Ukraine

Another right-winger promoting Putin talking points, what a shocking turn of events.

Zelensky bad, Putin good.

Listen to what Ukrainians are saying about him now, they don’t believe him anymore, your MSM won’t be able to control their anger once the tide turns. Not that they love Putin either.

Thanks for your neutral take and predictions.

Zelensky bad, Putin good.

Other than a little genocide, Putin may not be all that bad. Zelensky is no saint himself, but he didn't start or directly instigate the war. The US Government and US Corporations are no saints either with their policies causing resentment both within and outside of the US. As such, all parties concerned should be willing to be flexible in their mutual common interest of a timely resolution to the war.

There is a saying there are no laws between nations. In other words, as much as we may dislike Putin, unless one of his countrymen go 'sincerely prejudicial" on him, we are likely stuck with him for a long time. However, all mentioned countries have some responsibility in the continuance of this war with no end in sight. No end in sight of lives lost and economies disrupted. No end in sight with risks of escalation, putting even more lives and economies in jeopardy.

Are we stupid as a species? Time will tell, I suppose.

It seems likely a solution would consider interests, if not perceived imperatives of the parties beyond Ukraine.

Ukraine and Russia are currently in a lose-lose situation. If the war escalates, as seems likely, East-West allies will likely become a part of the lose-lose equation.

Well thought out trade, infrastructure, and security agreements can allow each participant to claim victory, reducing potential domestic political backlash while improving long term prospects for all.
