On Telegram you see and/or read on a daily basis about the "adventures" of Russians.
One man wanted to go to fight as he had no money to pay a credit he had to pay back.
He received a list from the army with the equipment he had to buy himself. He had to take a second credit as he had no money to buy these things.
When he was in Ukraine, he disappeared (or died but was not found). So his salary was blocked. His family had no income and now also no salary. The final result was that the first credit was not paid, the second credit was not paid, the family had no income as the salary was not paid, and probably the man is dead too. It was not a good idea to go to war to make money.
A second story:
Soldiers fighting in the first line had no weapons so their commander told them to withdraw to the third line. As they arrived there, the commander of the third line took them prisoner as they were told to be deserteurs. They told the commander of the first line send them, but this commander now said:" I never told them to go to the tird line."
As the first line was gone, the second line became the first line. But these soldiers started to protest as they were promised to be in the second line, not the first line. To cam them down, the commander told that Putin had promised them to be placed in the second line later (when fresh cannon meat would be available). Most of them will never reach the second line again, but catch a bodybag.
All these stories remind me of movies with Louis de Funès, or Laurel and Hardy.
