Russia & Ukraine

I believe the first paragraph of this article is important for context...

In October 2022 the U.N. listed 7.6 million Ukrainian refugees across Europe, including 2.85 million in Russiamany of the latter were sent there by Russian occupiers and were subjected to a “filtration” process with credible reports of war crimes emerging, including evidence of executions and torture. Some 4.2 million Ukrainian refugees have registered for the EU’s temporary protection scheme or other national programs. A further 3.1 million had returned to Ukraine as of June 2022 when the U.N. also noted 6.9 million internally displaced peoples.1 In all, nearly one-third of Ukrainians have been displaced. A further 13 million are stranded within Ukraine due to fighting, impassable routes, or lack of resources to move.

Let's face it. Russia is not exactly "the destination of choice" these days.

The Ukrainians fleeing to those European countries have to also compete with Russians fleeing to those countries. Russia is a shit-hole country that has fucked up everything for the civilized world. All their buddies are terrorist scum bag countries.

Russia is preparing to forcefully deport yet another 100,000 from Ukraine. The war crimes continue.

Moscow is allegedly preparing to deport some 100,000 Ukrainians to Russia

Yeah. Putin started packing the Ruskies into the Donbass bigtime in the years leading up to the war. He knew what was coming. He would pack the Ruskies in and then move the Ukrainians out if they did not flee.

There are a lot of Russians there anyway and that has to be balanced out. If Ukraine ever takes back the Donbass they should deport any Russian who was not living there three years before the war. Same with Crimea. Any Russian not living there three years before the 2014 invastion, I would deport them unless they were clearly there as part of a family connection or something, rather than the pre-packing of Crimea.

This is not about removing people to Russia who want to leave. It is about forcefully deporting Ukrainians to Russia who don't want to leave.

Yeah. I follow that. My comments were about the Russification of areas by 1)moving Ukrainian type people out, and 2) moving Russian type people in.
