Very good synopsis of Putin’s speech here. Putin hits every nationalistic fascist talking point. He weaves grievances with transgender people, fiat currency, religion, alternative energy sources and so on as well claiming to have movements rising in the west (Trump).

Interestingly, the little weirdo doesn’t mention his army is in retreat and Russia has turned itself into a Chinese vassal though.

Putin is a nut.

I guess because I have not kept up with things or something i just realized that Kherson is within the turf that he has annexed. Until very recently he was talking about two regions. Donetsk and Luhansk. Then - possibly due to the full moon at the end of the month- it jumped up to four regions.

All I can say is that he has his hands full. In addition to that disastrous scenario up in Lyman, he is holding on to Kherson by a just a pubic hair. Twenty thousand Russian troops currently trapped there between the river and Ukrainian lines.

He better hope that those new recruits coming in are well-trained and motivated.

They usually avoid like a plague photo opportunities like this. Or they try to take the pictures from way down low to compensate for Putin's obvious... ah. shortcomings. But not this time. You can kinda see one reason why he is the way he is.
