Yep. The Ukrainians duped the Russians a little.
So, they need to take Kherson now to make it up to the Russians. Hope that works for them.
Actually, takings those rail lines IS a way of taking Kherson. You might have to mix a little time into the equation- but not much. As discussed a couple times before, I am big believer in weakening Kherson down a few more notches before going on a full offense. The Ukrainians do not have the troops nor is it desirable to get involved in house to house too early. Time is not on the Russian's side there. They will have great difficulty resupplying and even if Little Rocket Man gives them a bunch of old ammo, how they gonna get it there? Doesn't really matter what I or they think anyway. Without those rail lines they are going to start deteriorating at a faster rate now.
