It is a military conflict and there are casualties on both sides. Russia invaded Ukraine to protect their national interests, this doesn’t justify anything, it’s just the way it is, like any other war conflict, I have made comparisons in the past.

This video from a clueless guy sitting in his mama's basement about Russia and China signing some type of great economic alliance this week to create economic opportunities and a reserve currency is laughable. The reality is that China's spending in Russia has dropped to zero and there is no alignment between the countries because China finds that western trade is much more important and sizeable than trade with Russia.

They aren’t going to wait for the West to sanction them as they sanctioned, aka stole from, Russia. They are getting ready for the fallout. Why would they want you in the long run?

China and its companies are being very careful to avoid western sanctions. They are avoiding selling anything to Russia which may be viewed as a violation which would cause sanctions to be placed on China. For example -- notice the complete lack of automobile parts available in Russia which are sourced from China..

China at this point really cares less about Russia -- and would be joyful if both Putin was shoved out as the leader and Russia disintegrated via conflict into multiple regions.
