Russia & Ukraine

Ah, so does that mean every politician who has ever supported "gerrymandering" is a dictator?

Seeing that it is state legislatures that normally set the voting districts and not the governor. It is nearly unprecedented in U.S. history for a U.S. governor to get involved in voting districts, draw his own map and demand the legislature pass it. A map focused on eliminating minority representation. About as authoritarian as it gets.

If DeSantis was a dictator like you say, would he allow the courts to rule on the decision?

If DeSantis had his way -- the courts would not exist.

As it stands he has been appointing state judges on the sole qualification of personal loyalty to him -- most are nearly completely unqualified to be judges. And as pointed multiple times, many of his state judicial appointees have ethics issues, lied on their applications, and may be subject to criminal charges for their actions.

You can take your opposing view of DeSantis being a dictatorial authoritarian over to this thread where it would be on-topic.

If you don't want to get into a discussion about it, don't bring it up, jackass.

I'm certainly not going to go over to a thread that's sole content is what you spam every day by yourself and random folk pop in to tell you how nuts you are just to poke the monkey in his cage.
