Why don't you carefully read the statement from the Ukraine lawmakers on the non-confidence vote on why she was dismissed (by the way it is found in the first paragraph of the article) rather than getting information from a Facebook post of a single Ukraine lawmaker.

Cal Thomas continues to be wrong about everything. Given his outrageous lies and disinformation when supporting the afghan and iraqi disasters, a self aware man would be hesitant about encouraging another war he will never have to fight himself. Kissinger has the truth of it; Russia has occupied just about everything it said it wanted before the war, and there is no power in Ukraine, short of an all out intervention by NATO, that will evict them. And, many, if not most, of the residents of those captured areas actually want the Russians there, preferring them to the western Ukrainians. By every poll, overwhelmingly americans are against getting into a shooting war in Ukraine, regardless ; so there are two choices, 1) continue to dump weapons into a war the Ukrainians are now losing in Donbas, and will continue to lose (there is a huge difference between conducting defensive operations around Kiev and conducting offensive operations in the Donbas, hundreds of miles further east) because they are simply not competent to conduct offensives against entrenched forces with a superiority in firepower, or 2) make a deal. We finally made a deal with the Taliban, after 20 years of wasted lives and treasure, and while little Cal is obviously butt hurt about it, I am glad we are out and wish we had left 15 years ago. Hopefully Ukraine is smart enough to make a deal now and not waste 20 years of pointless bloodshed, even if it makes Cal, who is a chickenhawk and a coward at heart, sad.
Yeah, I think someone with Kissinger's vast experience is probably a bit more...just a bit, mind you, credible.
Why we would the west want to appease Russia? What benefits do we get from a security standpoint through appeasement?
I dunno, maybe peace? No more killing? Or at least less of it. De-escalation? Better world trade? Lower oil prices? Not having to give $40B to the Ukraine? I'm just spitballing here.

Lets be clear Russia invaded Ukraine under false pretenses and they are, as the Chinese estimate, trying to create a “mini Soviet Union.”
No. Fight the monster today in Ukraine or we’ll be fighting it in the Baltics or Poland tomorrow. The Russians are not peaceful and they so not have good intentions.
