Russia & Ukraine

Fair enough, did you purposefully leave out the bit where it says that they would be given 10,000 rubbles for 9th of May? How did your new home country treat their veterans of WW2? Anything more exciting?
Because that's as pathetic as macaroni and sunflower oil bottle. Seriously, there cannot be that many WWII veterans left, they are all 90+. If you decide to gift them something, try harder than macaroni and sunflower oil. Or $100. That's just extremely disrespectful.

Here are more pathetic "gifts":

I don’t disagree with that part, but what did your new home country present their veterans with? Perhaps nothing, not to disrespect them of course.

VA, pensions they can live on and general prosperity before they retired. Something Russian WWII veterans were denied. Throwing them a flask of vodka on Victory Day is just... no words.

But then the country that they defended from Nazis is now Nazi itself. Their sacrifice is being besmirched by Russia itself. The "gifts" are beside the point.

The Ukrainian Internal Ministry says it received, so far, 32,000 requests from Russian parents to help them find their missing children participating in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Your new home is also Nazi according to your logic, don’t be naive.

Putin turned the Victory Day into Festivus. With his "airing of grievances" speech :) Followed by "feats of strength"? ROTFLMAO.

BTW, funny enough, in EVERY Russian city, the weather suddenly turned horrible (though still sunny) enough to cancel the air shows that were scheduled with the parades.

Putin 9th May: NATO countries did not want to hear us, they had completely different plans, preparations were made for an attack on Crimea, the alliance began military development of the territories adjacent to us, everything indicated that a clash with neo-Nazis would be inevitable.

Preemptive attack basically, your new home country @terr would have done the same.

You don't get it. And probably won't get it.

Russia already lost. The moment it attacked, it lost. It doesn't matter whether it will actually take Ukraine or part of Ukraine or will have to run away with its tail between its legs. Both ways it loses. It is going to be an isolated, pariah state, not being able to build anything more technological than a 1970s vehicle, with a ruined economy. A Nigeria with snow, as Brin famously said, a North North Korea. It has already lost. It is just refusing to acknowledge it. Yet.

Ruble higher 30% since war has started, that means GDP in dollars is also sharply higher. Russia was 11th economy in the world it will become 5 th when it stop accepting dollars and euro and switches all resources into rubles

Every nation will beg for russian resources, West made huge mistake when refused safety talks Russia proposed in December
Now Russia can choke Europe, If Russia is cruel enough and imposes total trade embargo Europe will become a wasteland with totally ruined economy,
refugees will go to Africa from Europe.
Nigeria will be considered paradise by people in Estonia

It’s pretty clear to the ones that are capable of readings between the lines and whose brain hasn’t been paralysed by western propaganda, that what is happening now was planned and the consequences were known well in advance. And there ain’t no point crying about poor Ukrainians as what’s happening in Ukraine has been a provocative action by both leaders of Ukraine and NATO, they knew what awaits in future and that is exactly what they wanted.
