The difference is that in the US a very small part of the population tells/believes such a nonsense. And surely no state controled television like in Russia.

In Russia ALL people, ALL TV channels and ALL politicians tell that nonsense. Even Putin. In the US not a single politician makes (up) such a statements.

If you don't see the difference you are ready to go to Russia. It means your brain got dematerialized (as the Russinas would say).

Are you saying that "analysts" appearing on shows like Don Lemon or Brian Stelter on CNN are telling accurate details on the subjects they report on all the time?

Yes... this is a problem which has been cited over and over again. Including the manipulations European countries have gone through with front companies, etc. to pay Russia in rubles for oil & gas in a very obscurificated manner.
