Russia & Ukraine

Before 2014 Russia was already controlling Ukraine, so is was already "invaded" by Russia.

In 2014 Putin already decided to take Ukraine back after the Maidan revolt. Yanukovych was a puppet from Putin and was installed as president because the other candidate that as pro EU was poisoned (by the Russians). First Putin took Crimea.
So EU membership or NATO membership could sabotage the plans from Putin to really take over Ukraine. So what triggered Putin was the fact that he was going to lose the possibility to take Ukraine back. So it had nothing to do with NATO. He now quickly invaded Ukraine before they could join EU or NATO.
On top of that each country is free to make deals with other countries as they wish. It is not Russia who can decide what other countries can do or not. Russia never asked any other country if they agreed with what Russia does. Why should other countries then ask Russia?

Russia is the agressor:
  • flying with nuclear bombers without transponder close to the EU borders.
  • cyberattack/terror against Western countries and companies.
  • etc...
 
Russia is in shock after the cruiser sunk.

Russia said that there was fire on the cruiser that caused the damage , so no Ukrainian missiles.
Why would they then retaliate in Ukraine? Ukraine did nothing, a Russian soldier was smoking and made fire with his cigarette (that was the first official version of the Russian government). This shows that Russians have all the time different versions of reality and they adapt the version in function of what they want to do.
It also shows that the majority of Russians have no brain as they always believe what Russia tells and always denies what the rest of the world says. Critical thinking, or even just simple thinking, is something Russians are not able to do.
They can install nuclear weapons, what we don't like. But we cannot install nuclear weapons because they don't like that. Russian logic.

Another fun fact about the cruiser "Moskva"...

One reason Russians were so sure about its invulnerability - it had a magic splinter onboard. I am not kidding.

"The Christian relic - part of the Lord's Cross - will be held on the flagship of the Black Sea fleet - rocket cruiser "Moskva". It's a piece of wood of a few millimeters in size. It is held on board the ship inside a metal cross from the 19th century and in a special reliquary designed for it."

You just cannot make it up.
