Zelensky said the other day that the tide has turned in the war, the question is with the Russians largely stalled so the Ukrainians go on the offensive or just build forces and buttress defenses?

No disrespect Mick, but Melbourne and Sydney aren't being turned into gravel pits, nor would I say there's much chance of that. Europe.. not the case.

You can't take take a ruthless killer that possesses over 4000 nuclear weapons, wound them bad, and then back them into a corner with not only defeat on the battlefield, but informing them even if a treaty is reached, their problems have just begun... and that leader is going to prison on his way to execution.

I'm not disputing a damn thing you're saying, what I am pointing out is Biden just made matters worse. He did. And before anyone here jumps on me with "the world knows what Putin is already"... allow me to point out a few hours ago that drop in the markets was in response to the Kremlin releasing a statement that addressed Biden's remark.

Japan’s military has said it spotted four large Russian amphibious warfare ships sailing close to its islands as they traveled west, possibly towards Europe, Reuters is reporting.

Pictures of the amphibious transports, typically used for landing expeditionary forces ashore, published by Japan’s defence ministry showed what appeared to be military trucks loaded onto the deck of one of the vessels.

Biden may have just f'd Eastern Europe badly. It was a huge gaff. It was from the hip, of course it's true, but the President of the United States can't be mumbling something like that in a "senior's moment" unless he's ready to act now and plant a missile on top of wherever Putin is staying.
I'm all for tough talk out of a President... but now he personally said those words. Things are gonna escalate. Mark my word.

Air Serbia saw two anonymous e-mails report bombs on board two of its aircraft bound for Russia yesterday for a third day in a row. The threats targeted Air Serbia’s service from Belgrade to St Petersburg, as well as to Moscow. The e-mails were sent prior to departure, resulting in the St Petersburg service being delayed over three hours, while the evening Moscow flight was late two hours on take off. Both threats, along with the previous three, turned out to be false. While most of the e-mails being sent to Belgrade Airport are from Ukraine, the last one was submitted from Poland. They come amid the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Air Serbia is continuing to serve the Russian market for now. Despite media reports in Russia that services are being discontinued and that some passengers have received e-mails of flight cancellations, the airline is only reducing its frequencies to Moscow from fifteen weekly rotations to eight weekly, with some travellers subsequently being informed that their flight has been cancelled. Starting March 21, the carrier plans to maintain a daily departure to the Russian capital, with two flights operating on Fridays. The reduction in frequencies come in response to external pressure for the airline to discontinue its flights, as it remains one of the few European carriers still able to operate into Russia. Most flights from Moscow have been sold out over the coming weeks.

Air Serbia has not commented on its Russia operations since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. According to the TangoSix portal, in addition to the sustained hoax bomb threats, the airline’s website has also come under attack from hackers on several occasions over the past week, targeting ticket sales. Furthermore, its employees have also received threatening e-mails. However, there are few solutions to the ongoing bomb scares. Due to short turn around times, the aircraft operating flights to Russia cannot be thoroughly checked for explosive devices prior to departure, a process which takes hours as each piece of equipment on board must be screened.

I don’t know what you’re getting at here or why you’re off in lala land saying Biden just fucked all of Eastern Europe but the days of praising Putin are over.

And Eastern Europe is safer from Russian aggression today than 3 weeks ago or 3 years ago. Not only has Russia been completely exposed but the west is flexing its muscle. The other day 3 Eastern European leaders went into Kyiv- an active war zone under attack by the Russians- in defiance of the Russians to support Ukraine. Yeah, Eastern Europe is t fucked, it’s emboldened.

Putin even threatens a nuke strike he will be killed in a coup because everyone under him knows it will wipe out russia.
