It is a lot more than 4000 troops. The conservative days-old Western estimates are 5000 dead. The most conservative usual wounded/killed ratio for any army, especially an advancing one, is 3.5:1 - so this is, conservatively, 25K troops lost to combat, with another 3000 being reported captured.

Russia lost, dead, three one-star generals. In 2 weeks. That's not propaganda. That is confirmed. Completely unprecedented.
I can accept more than 4K troops lost on the Russian side but when we get into the tens of thousands in two weeks we are talking monstrous losses in a relatively small land area. It would truly be a staggering loss of that high. Like Putin is a butcher numbers.
