Russia & Ukraine

I'd expect what's feared most is a high-altitude EMP attack over the sea possibly around Denmark or closer to the UK but.. he takes the same. I'm predisposed to always attack, especially Russians (the grenade in my bedroom thing) but MAD rules still apply as always.

Of course it will just turn into a meat grinder on the ground. Having Boris still as PM in the UK is almost guaranteeing that.

Well I was more speaking to Putin will most likely want to escalate his messaging and setting off a nuclear bomb will get a lot of attention but no damage or loss of human life.

Setting off an EMP would most likely spark a chain of events we would not want to go down.

Let's take a look at Putin's latest excuse for attacking the Ukraine which will fail to stick...
  • Russia needed be DeNazify the Ukraine government (despite the President being Jewish).
  • Russia needed to stop Ukraine from joining NATO.
  • Russia says there was a real threat of Ukraine acquiring nuclear weapons which require a response.

Putin has repeatedly told the public and the troops that they are liberating Ukraine.

As I said the other day, I have still have not seen the women kissing the soldiers arriving to save them. Maybe that comes later. OR NOT.

Putin informing his generals that he wants the nuclear situation put on full alert- as a way of getting scary and ballsy.

Meanwhile, the generals are thinking, "guess what KGB Boy, the Americans have been on full alert for weeks, they just don't mouth off about it."

Vlad is a poison and umbrellas guy. Does not mix well with the military sometimes, if not often.

The generals in countries often tend to be warmongers but not always. The Japanese military high command- for example- had that similar "oh shit what is the Emperor getting us into" reaction to the attack on America. They fought the log slog and as viciously as required but all of the senior command knew they were fucked from the beginning and that it would not end well.

I suspected Putin was pondering a nuclear move in the ocean when he had a “navy operations” or whatever off of the coast of Ireland. Not saying he is going to do it but if he does then things are getting real bad.

I seen video of a woman throwing Molotov cocktails at Russian armored vehicles. That’s a kind of kiss…

So if you establish a no-fly zone, you're essentially escalating to commit to engagement, right?

Of course... are you just going to adopt a policy of appeasement and allow a dictator to take the Ukraine? Then whatever the dictator wants to take next-- like Finland or Poland.

Even the New York Post is effectively calling for direct action and not listening to Putin's nuke threats.

Since when did America stand by as dictators cluster-bombed innocents? It’s time Biden called Putin’s bulls–t nuke bluff

I can see you're riled again with the bold font and the angry tone.

All I'm asking is whether you are OK with upping the ante with open military conflict. Because that's where a no-fly zone establishment by NATO leads.

Lots of saber rattling going on here. So now a nuclear exchange is okay? We should call Putins bluff? I recall, not all that long ago, when the same people were calling Trump a crazy man for challenging little Kim, who was/is no more or less crazy than Putin and Kim had a hell of a lot less nuclear firepower. Funny how things change as the politics change.
If we're going all in, then let it be known there's a price to pay for that. There's a price for doing nothing. This is the conundrum we find ourselves in when all parties involved have so much shit in their own game. No clean hands. How's that line go, nobody is right when everyone's wrong. Should come as no surprise that we would eventually end up here.
