Russia & Ukraine

Subjective scores? Are you kidding? The most relevant are land and air forces, including missile systems. Germany? How much of US forces are included in that? Looks like I need to dig deeper. Even Wikipedia.org is not showing specific numbers comparing forces on the European Continent, much less discussion on “Relative quality”.

Maybe I heard right, after all. If so, scary to think the mismatch between Russia and any single other Nato country other than the US. Then again, probably any major power would not be able to safely absorb a first strike on the bulk of its forces by another major power. But that may be preemptive of me.

Again, Russia dismantling either the next largest modern Army on the European Continent or one of the top armies on the European Continent. Within 24 hours. At least to the point of putting them into a mostly defensive position.

The next time Russian forces gather on another country’s border, perhaps you would be kind enough to ask which body part their leader is preparing to kiss goodbye.

The Global Firepower group is one of the world's leading organizations in rating and ranking military forces. It is not just some "subjective score".

Now step up and admit you are completely wrong trying to claim that the Ukraine is the second leading military power on Europe. An absurd assertion at any level.

It is not a complicated question.

% of GDP military spending means nothing when Ukraine's GPD is less than Texas.

It does show commitment to military spending, however. A commitment well justified based on recent events. A commitment that just might end up preserving their sovereignty.

If I am wrong, it is apparently not by much. Perhaps Jane’s may be a definitive source?

Edit: I did admit to being wrong about not verifying my source.

With 155 billion GDP that commitment means nothing in the context of your statement of having Europe's 2nd best military.
