Dead Russian officers coming right up.

Putin giving orders to the troops to advance again. Whenever he does that he requires that the officers have to lead from the front, and then boom, boom, boom. You start seeing more generals and colonels being killed.

Frankly and painfully, this what got the Americans in trouble in the withdrawal from AFG. There was not a single soldier or officer there who would have conducted the timing or the method of withdrawal that was done if left to themselves. However, they were not left to themselves. Washington and the Beltway started giving direct orders to the military command to meet their political objectives. Total disaster.

Some quasi-tabloid stuff here.

But Putin is so paranoid now that the tabloid stuff (not saying there is no truth in it) drives him nutso and causes him to do even crazier things.

He just banned the Wagner Dick from recruiting convicts and ordered the Russia media to downplay any of Wagner Dick's military role or accomplishments. So Putin is definitely acting upon all of his well-justified paranoia. And articles like this just crank him up some more and get him to "accident" a few generals. And yes, I am using "accident" as a verb.

A flash drive left behind by fleeing Russian forces in Ukraine contains hundreds of documents, including citations for medals, which identify key officials involved in handling civilians who allegedly hold anti-Russian views in occupied areas. Many of those civilians say they have been tortured. Russian Schools Ordered to Buy Grenades, Rifles for 'Military Training'

Schools in St. Petersburg, Russia, have been ordered to buy assault rifles and dummy grenades to be used in class as part of a Soviet-era basic military training course that has been reinstated amidst the war in Ukraine.

A local court in St. Petersburg ruled that local schools must be equipped with an assortment of items that are to be used by teachers and students as part of a so-called "initial military training" program.

The program, which teaches children how to assemble and disassemble firearms, how to provide first aid, and how to respond to a nuclear or chemical attack, was abolished in 1993 and reinstated by Russia's Education Minister Sergey Kravtsov.

The ruling came after the St. Petersburg prosecutor's office conducted inspections in schools, and found that they didn't have the arsenal required to equip classrooms for the course.
