Russia & Ukraine

Reports that Russians in Liman have been completely surrounded.

Depending on the source, that's 3,000 to 10,000 troops.

By the way, wouldn't it be funny is the whole surrounded shebang surrendered tomorrow, the day Putin is supposed to announce that that area is now part of Russia?

Main Russian propagandist yesterday - whining. "Come on, start winning. We need it." "Oy". "Ahh". All depressed. Needs meds.

Pretty funny. Yesterday there was some good-natured mischief with this clown. Someone put up a tweet/video with fake subtitle translations saying he had been drafted/mobilized which started a lot of chatter.

It is not the first video in this link. Scroll down just a bit. Some entertainment value there. I presume that the captions where the chick is talking about how Russia has enough pedophiles and perverts to send to the front line are fake too, but I don't know. Pretty effing funny either way. Yeh, fake. the whole thing but funny as hell.

A mother crosses into enemy territory to retrieve her daughter from "summer camp" in Russia.

Wow. Probably the first time some of those Russian soldiers saw someone with balls. Being a woman and hitchhiking with all those creeps around is extremely dangerous- even if it were not wartime.

Mother hitchhikes into Russia to save child from summer camp - as hundreds more youngsters remain stranded

Sure but even if all the Russians got out (not going to happen)- see quote from article below- that would just mean that the Ukrainians were able to seize the railway hub at Lyman with fewer losses which is the primary goal- along with recapturing a city of 20,000. That could be okay too. Thousands of soldiers just fled at Izyum, so if the Russians want to do that again, go for it. Just keep cutting off their supply hubs and as the weeks go by there will be- if not already tens and tens of thousands of weakened hungry troops floating around the east. With untrained new recruits coming in thinking they are going to get ammo and food when the ones there already are not. Good luck wit dat.

"The roughly 3,000 Russian troops in Lyman might still have a way out—along the road to Zarichne, to the east—but the troops in Drobysheve, potentially hundreds of them, could struggle to escape. They’d need to travel south, likely while under fire, before turning east toward Zarichne."

Yep I think that would be funny...

Unless I was living near a major US military base of course.

Terr, have you ever hunted large game? Its sort of an Alaska question because that is where most large game is found.

Up there.. those folks don't bother with the .223s and stuff we hunt deer with in the Conus-48. They work with 45-70 and up... for a reason.

Imagine if some little backwards country had 6800 nuclear weapons with intercontinental ballistic capability.

If you were a family man, would that not give you pause? If you were a footloose single man, would that not still give you pause?

What I see is generational amnesia. People, in large groups, simply cannot process anything that has occurred before their existance. It might theoretically be the explanation for the repeated "World Wars".

I mean, being dragged into World War by Europe.... have we not been through this... TWICE?

For God's sake... for a minute think of your children, your parents, your neighbors.
