I disagree with you here because I believe that the logistics of fighting your neighbor vs fighting an enemy 1,000's of miles away will favor the much stronger military.
While my above statement applies to the US vs Vietnam; the US also had to deal with politics, unlike Putin.
Unless Putin walks away ... we'll see how it goes.

Along those lines, I would hope, every bit of every one of the elint spy tools we possess are sucking all of this up. It might be useful down the road. But that said, if I can think of that, you can bet Putin has too. He won't pull out every trick. He doesn't need too obviously.
Why are they not a NATO vote?
Did they drop out or something. I wanted to boot them out and now you tell me they are not even a member or something. Some countries are not NATO members but get referenced to as "nato aligned" which can confuse things but tell me they are not a member before I look further.
