And the statement that this would bring the troops to 1.15 million is a total crock. It would include troops around the world in the other countries that he is messing with but still.....No to the 1.15 million. Not active anyway. Could be in some technical standby designation.

And he has already recalled lots of troops from Syria, Libya, Senegal and a bunch of other places. He has placed some in Nicaragua and other countries too so cuts into the ones he can bring to Ukraine.

Anyway his war.....not mine. Excuse, meant to say special military operation. No war in Ukraine. Just lots of dead folks and soldiers and missiles and artillery and flattened former cities.

The tv watchers in St. Petersburg and Moscow are thinking: "holy shit, how is this fucker gonna do that without mobilization? That war is for siberian, chechens, and north caucuses cannon fodder, not me. I got my VPN here in Moscow and just watch the war on youtube when I am not watching porn. I don't want to go there."

Erdogan is calling for Russia to give up Crimea!!!!

What the hell is going on here? Erdogan just had the big summit meeting with Putin and everyone was speculating that he was the Main Man when it comes to brokering a deal on ending the war because he is a NATO member but deals equally with Putin, being the snake that he is.

I don't get this Crimea thing though. Putin will have him knocked off for crisesake. Not looking like Putin's buddy. Not sure whether it is connected to the F-16 deal or to attempts by Europe to get Turkey to build a gas pipeline over to Azerbajan to get at their big gas supplies. It would be something snaky though. Ukrainians might have laundered some of the American money too and given him a piece of it covertly. It's all about the Benjamins with Erdogan, and Ukraine has plenty of our Benjamins to toss around.

Vlad must be piss over this though. Seriously. Just shakin my head.

Not to forget the obvious too. Erdogan controls access to the Black Sea so Putin likes to own the guy who is the gatekeeper. Not lookin good on that. This week anyway. He could snake back to Putin's favor for the right amount.

Yes indeed (below) as discussed in my posts about why it is good to harass Crimea even if it cannot be retaken soon or at all. It messes up, among other things, the Ruskie plans to cycle back to Kiev or to move on to Odessa or Moldova and it rattles the Russian pysche outside of Ukraine. That's actually the same game the Russians are playing in Kiev. Not attacking it outright again but having the Belarus do rain dances around the border and lobbing missiles into the city just to keep more troops from shifting down to the east. Then the plan is (not working) to go back up when they can- maybe sucker Ukraine into doing a brief ceasefire so they resupply (also not working).
