Russians starting to realize that their third-world economy cannot support their imperialist dreams. The interesting and unsaid part is that yes, dumb munitions production is possible to ramp up, though they will have to wreck the civilian economy to do so. But any kind of sophisticated weapons are impossible to produce. Russia has no production facilities for that and cannot buy any outside anymore.
