BTW - a fun piece of news. Germany's Scholz finally was forced by the Bundestag to give Ukraine some Gepards. 50 of them. But he claimed that Germany only had 23,000 shells to give with those Gepards - not enough.

So Brasil volunteered about 300,000 Gepard shells they have to give to Ukraine. Note that Brasil is part of the so-called BRICS alignment - that is, Brasil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. So *even* Brasil is turning away from Russia.

Hmmm. Not sure what is going on there. Bolsonaro and Putin are tighter than a bull's arse at fly-swatting time. He was in Moscow to see Putin just a couple days before the invasion. For Brazil, Russia is a big supplier of fertilizer for their soy crops. And Brazil voted against or abstained from sanctions for Russia and abstained from removing Russia from the UN Human Rights Council.

So now, just a couple weeks later, they are helping to arm Ukraine??????????

Not sure what is going on there. Sounds like Putin is no longer in a position to deliver on some of their deals or someone in DC offered him "incentives."

Incentives can happpen.

In other news - Poland said it transferred to Ukraine 200 tanks as well as a few dozen BMPs, artillery pieces and Grad rocket systems.

That's how Ukraine right now has more (working) tanks than Russia does.
