I collect these when I see them in twitter or telegram. Most are from posts in vkontakte by the killed officers' colleagues or russian newspapers reporting on burials. I don't record below Lieutenant Colonel, there are too many of those.

Note that the date of death is Feb 28. So they are acknowledging this almost a month later. Who knows how many such deaths are still "pending".

See, my solution is to never put ourselves in a situation like this in the first place. But we lack forethought - as a nation, as a culture.

That’s great but the egg is scrambled. Arguing the egg should have never been scrambled in the first place defaults to appeasement.

In regards to the Ukraine, yes. But it also suggests that today's prudence prevents tomorrow's appeasement.

Probably a lot are still pending. Though I'd attribute that to poor communication between Moscow and the oblast in question (Kurgan in this case). Thanks for sharing.
