Their convoy thing remains a mess. Yesterday a military pundit type asked a great question, to wit: "Why do we always just see all the trucks in the satellite images but no troops around them." Then there were reports by Ukraine residents living the area of the convoy that Ruskie soldiers were entering their houses to ransack and look for food. So that's a mess and a disaster. But they will just go savage in Kviev in some way to compensate for the clown show in that column. And,yes I get that some weapons and missiles are arriving and that will keep things messy - probably for years to come- but, in general, Russia is on track for Ukraine.

Iran deal business rather than Ukraine, I would imagine.

Things are weird right now. The Americans and Ruskies are having a proxy war in Ukraine but also sitting at the table with the Russians and Israelis over the new Iran Deal- which will consist of just finding out what the Iranians want and giving it to them- oil, you know.

I dunno.
I think Israeli intelligence knows something we don't. This could easily be interpreted as an ominous sign as to what Putin is planning as a next step.

Ok, that could be.

Putin gets around. Israel could be confronting him with what Putin is planning as his next step in cooperation with Iran rather than Ukraine too.

Reuters says its about Ukraine but that he is doing some backchannel work for Biden maybe. Also says he wants to discuss the situation about Jews whatever that means.

As a rule of thumb, never underestimate the extent of the Israeli intelligence service' tentacles. You can bet they have moles placed in the various levels of Russia's armed forces and even within Russian intelligence. I dare say far more than we do.
I doubt this trip is about Iranian oil at this point.
For Bennet to fly to Moscow in person.... uh uh. That's a big deal.

Yeh, I updated my comment while you were posting.

And yes of course on Israeli intelligence. As I said many times, if you want a complete set of Hillary's emails, just get them from the Israelis.
