Ukraine for some bizarre reason has not been at all friendly to Israel. Ever. As in voting (even very recently) *WITH RUSSIA* against Israel in the UN.

Yeh. It's complicated but there are things in motion too. Israel is putting a whole air defense system in Ukraine, starting in Kiev, which is supposed to be state of the art based on their Iron Dome success.

Taiwanese are very nice people. China is full of sociopaths only libertarians could be blind to. I've been to both and I'll never forget the snowdrift of cards for prostitutes under my hotel door when I checked in and went out for my first hour in China. Over twenty and it was a roughly 3-4 star hotel.
