Russia Dumps the U.S. Dollar for Euro as Reserve Currency

Quote from asiaprop:

despite the lack of any valid basis of this thread, I get the impression that YOU are the one who brings up some "anti Amercian-agenda" debate each time, and its tiring to say the least. Why does the abandoning of the USD as major reserve currency have anything to do with being anti-American???

I dont care what the OP or the blog poster wrote/said but I find it a bit childish of you that you seem to spot some anti Americanism behind each corner. That the USD will be abandoned sooner or later as THE major reserve currency is, I think, inevitable and should not even be debated. The US will never return to its real-product capacity again, this was passed on to the likes of China and soon India among others. The goal for the US and other major industrialized (what a misleading term in this age) nations is to broaden their edge in the most valuable commodity of our age and the next 100 years, INFORMATION and SERVICES.

So, calm down, nobody is shooting missiles or rockets at your beautiful American castle.

He sees things that aren't there.

I hate what's happening to the U.S. right now, but you'll never find anyone who's more patriotic.

Patriotism doesn't mean one turns a blind eye to the most critical problems facing one's country. In fact, it means facing those problems, engaging in debate, and trying to urge rational solutions.

The true Patriots are people like Ron Paul. Have you ever seen anyone as critical of what this nation's central bank or treasury department are doing?

Would anyone call Ron Paul anything but a patriot?

not that they can predict the future, and in cases it can be purposely misleading, but still worth reading

scroll down to page 12, there is a section on the USD, titled; "A Decline in the Dollar’s International Role."

Reading this post, all I can think of is .... SHIT for brains.

Quote from 426653478:

one of the advantages dollar has over most other currencies is that it's an international currency so when they print more of it to pay back their loans, they don't have to worry about inflation as much as other countries do, because the money created is being divided among most of the world population and not just the US population

but now we have another international currency, the euro, so the new mentality is, if there are two why can't there be three or four

so they are basically declaring an all out financial war against the US, they stop holding money in USDs, that money will circulate back into the US and other countries holding USDs, which is inflationary and undermines the value of the USD

By, most every post I recollect from you in the last month has been negative. And, yes, it is anti-american to think the reserve currency won't be the USD, because it always will be, and there's no basis for stating Russia has abandoned the currency.
