We are not defending (or at least I am not) what FOX is doing. We are stating that this is something liberal media outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. had done for years before many stopped allowing any comments on stories in 2014 or so. The elimination of comments and banning of specific posters was done due to the conservative content of what they wrote, not because they violated terms of the site in terms of language etc.

Media outlets should only censor clear hate speech, personal attacks, and bad language on their website comment sections (or facebook comment sections), not filter speech based on political bias.

As shown, it's not very difficult to filter out content that you don't agree with - if those liberal sites were really trying to avoid conservative content then they would have done that. CBS, ABC and NBC allow comments on their pages and there are plenty of right-wing conservative comments. Your entire argument is based on CNN and MSNBC not allowing comments at all which is NOT the same as censorship. Censorship means someone took the effort to FILTER out certain things, that's intent.

Still no evidence of 'political bias' used to censor speech at any of the sites you keep bringing up - take a look at NBC, ABC, CBS and tell me they don't have Cons blathering as usual.

Facebook and Twitter are also filtering.
Not to mention most all of the MSM have done the same.
Why can't you handle that?
It's all wrong.
