Russell 2000 up 7% on average between Dec-Feb?

Saw this on CNBC but I missed everything but the last 3 seconds. Does anyone know about this? Tried to fo more research on it but couldn't find anything online.

No, but I am able to do a little research on my own. Since you are not, here are the last 6 years of Dec-Feb for RUT:

06: 780-830
05: 690-740
04: 633-635
03: 550-585
02: 405-360
01: 460-475

As you can see in the last 6 years there was 1 flat and one very down year, so you have to take it with a grain of salt, whatever CNBC said. There can always be a bad year...

I hope you can do the % calculations....
