Considering starting a free chat room.... or just an email thread to chat together every morning from 9:15a to end-of-day. ... or, just chat here .....

Now that ICE charge $100 a month for retail data, you wont get many newbies signing up to trade TF. Still you might find a few old timers who still trade it and are more than profitable enough to not notice the fee but probably they dont hang around any chat rooms if they any good.

What are the spreads and volume like in TF these days? I trade TNA regularly.

TF has great spreads, great liquidity -- overall a great contract to trade. But it's really volatile if you don't know what you're doing. It can make you a ton or blow your account right up.

Well I was thinking about it in terms of the times I trade -- 9-11AM Eastern. During that time, it's 1 tick I would say.. I never actually think about it.

Yes, TF is a good trader. I pay no extra fees... and, yes, it does move quickly at times.... but technically is trends well if you determine the trend and trade within it.
I checked one chat room but it was empty.
Suggestions ?

I market order in... and market order out... so I am not directly effected by the spreads.... but they are tight anyways. There is spreads and slippage in everything. Can't worry about things you can't control. But, TF is very profitable.
