I'm not saying Limbaugh wasn't stupid for saying that on the air, but he's human, he does a show everyday, and he was being sarcastic.

See this is the problem today and why we're all so f'd up as a country. People are more worried about what someone says than they are about their life's work and accomplishments. Its like there's this unseen cadre of word police that encompass every aspect of our society that are just lying in wait, hoping and praying that someone higher up the ladder than they are will say some off-color remark so they can bring them down.

Its f'ing stupid.

I never listened to the man once. Not for any reason... I just never have. But I do like the story a few posts ago about the amputee girl in Ghanna. If that's the kind of stuff he did... he gets a pass for being human and saying something stupid. Lets start evaluating people by their actions and not an occasional slip-up of words in our PC society. This is another reason Trump won 2016... cause folks like me have had enough of this stupid "ruin someone's life/career because they offended someone". F that. Get over it.

Point out where I wrote he deserves it. What I wrote, and should be painfully obvious, is given that Teddy Kennedy received the medal maintaining high moral standards and personal conduct aren't part of the criteria used to determined who gets the thing. Personally I don't give a shit as it means nothing to me. Just another non issue that triggered democrats want to yammer on about. King of Trolls Trump got'em again.
I am just doing what I do here, pointing out the blatant hypocrisy and double standards of the left. You can't be upset about Rush and not upset about Kennedy. Teddy left a woman to die for christs sake. When all democrats push for stripping Kennedy of his Medal and publicly denounce his drunken sexual assaulting ass, then we can talk about Limbaugh and his shenanigans. Until then Rush is just another guy wearing the medal.

Actually, what he said was if you're going to give it to the likes of Ted Kennedy, then the standards for the award have already been thrown out the window so giving it to the likes of Rush doesn't really lower anything.

I agree with that. But we should aim to go higher and not lower. Oh well, I guess wishful thinking.
