900 mb
South Korea is the fastest in the world and they offer 220-250 mb.
You will be lucky to get 50mb in England with weekly cuts.
Verizon FIOS has been offering 1000 Mbps for years.

You can also get corporate and fibre connections that are way faster than that. The point was to compare broadband home packages, as if you move to a rural area what would be your standard connection.
Although I never had major detectable issues in London, in general UK internet speed appears to be one of the slowest. 47th in the world, one of the worst in Europe.

In the UK it takes on average 18 minutes to download a 5GB movie to watch, in Spain it takes just 12 minutes, Sweden eight minutes and Switzerland six mins.
If that is true, given it's from the Guardian so shouldn't be fake news, I am very negatively surprised. I never find it annoying downloading movies and my annoy threshold is about 3-5 mins.
It isn’t, this thread has people comparing broadband via fibre with mobile internet.
How is London compared to Paris in terms of Africanity ?
