Runaway Democrats in Wisconsin about to cost taxpayers $165M+

Quote from Ricter:

The electorate is out, actually on the street, this weekend, around a 100,000 or more, standing with the public service workers of WI. Not much in the right-wing biased media about it, though.
Glenn Beck got 2 to 5 times that many people to show up at the Lincoln Memorial for a speech! Those out for the unions are just the rest of the paranoid gov. union workers worried about getting a dent in their superior pay and benefit packages.

that about sums it up...

Quote from 377OHMS:

I think that is an equivocation of unrelated moral issues. Liberals can't make a straight up argument so everything is some tangential comparison to George Bush.

Lame.

You're not simple I know you get the point. Just in case I miss judged you and you are simple or just did not get my point, do you advocate Republican politicians sued for their transgressions too. There are many you can pick the transgression you feel is comparable to this issue.

Quote from Ricter:

Apples to oranges, the union crowd is there for bread, Beck's crowd was there for circuses.
So, you are saying fewer people should turn out for bread? It seems that is backwards logic. I think it just shows that the unions are real special interest groups preying on the taxpayer.

Bush, Beck...all deflections from the fact that the democrats are about to add $165M in unnecessary financing fees to the Wisconsin state budget.

Who is going to pay the extra $165 million dollars? Unions? Teachers? The runaway legislators? The taxpayers?

Not me I've never even been to Wisconsin, but since you asked how about they bill governor Walker, if he gave in it would save the state 165 million. Is his pride worth that much, of course it is to him but really.

Of course Walker or the senators are not personally liable. Part of this is Walkers miscalculating what would happen from his power grab. He got the cuts he wanted from the union every thing else is about him and not the state. Does he doubt his ability to negotiate with the union?

A solution would be for Walker to get a couple of moderate republicans to vote with the democrats, everyone saves face and the democrats owe Walker one.
