Rumor: IMF Selling gold to raise cash

Quote from the1:

PLEASE tell me you don't really believe that. I wrote a lot more after this but decided to erase it because I'm not in the mood to get into some useless debate about the topic but I'm surprised to here you say this.

haha! exactly.

Quote from Rumblefish:

who cares about Greece,

Greece is a welfare state but the taxpayers dont' want to pay the tax.

Greeks want gov't welfare but don't want to pay tax on it.

I don't want to bailout Greece any more than you do, I was just attempting to speculate about why Obama would be very motivated to help Greece, via the IMF.

I despise the Greek/socialist model and will be even more pissed at Obama if he forks over borrowed money that my kids will have to payback in order to help Greece.

The fact that Bernanke gave Congress the middle finger during the 2008 collapse when they asked where the money was going is proof enough to show who runs the show. The Fed can do whatever it wants with the US dollar and there isn't a darn thing Congress can do about it.

Can you tell who the banks are? Bernanke's response, "No...."

From 1:36 Bernanke carefully says if the Fed is audited it will lead to Economic Instability. There's no way to know exactly what Bernanke means or knows but I suspect the asset side of the Fed's balance sheet is worth zero. That would most certainly cause an economic collapse because the acceptance of a Federal Reserve Note is based of faith that it is actually worth something. It's completely worthless the way monopoly money is worthless.
