Rule of 10 Journal

Now then,

Am I right to assume there was a trade this morning BUY @ 80 ,as high was 90...stopped 77.

Was I too early or what...would this have been the trade if it was an automated function from overnight?

Depends on if your were short off the signal at 90.

But according to jags inflexible 10 point exact standard you would not have been and yes he would have been long at 80 and stopped out and only up 31 points in 5 days instead of 34.

As I said before, 10 is just the average.

EDIT, to be technical, I am looking for a move of 9 to 11 points period with 10 being stated as the average.

Ok , thanks....therefore ,I took a 3 point loss and would stop for the day as that is all I am going to focus on for the time being.

And that is fine, using my strategy from a reaction high or low, you would have been looking for a signal at 9 to 11 points "10 average " from the 84 previous low but that is not how jagmot uses the rule and this is his journal so I will not make it more confusing.

Volente, I like the way you have some flexibility in your entries. My question here is, if you enter on a "rule of nine", and it reaches to the 10 just after you enter, is your stop 3 from your entry, or 3 from the peak, i.e. now 4 pts from your entry?

what about blackguards Rule of 12? and 24?

why do you think eggs are packed by the dozen and in 24s.Its a rule of nature. You go against nature and your going against mankind.

think about it.
