I’m not thinking that at all. I think he has all the cover he needs to get elected and stay seated from Trump and Bannon.

My point is the stain that will be left on the Republican Party will not go away. Roy Moore is a nasty turd republicans are going to have for breakfast and everyday for a long time.

I agree. He is the alpha dog. Ability to overcome ones natural animal instincts is strengthened by education -- sadly there are likely too few well educated voters in Alabama to elect Jones. The Alpha dog should win in Alabama. However it should be a very close election. This will be yet another example of people getting what they deserve. But how about the rest of us? We don't deserve it.

You might want to hope that the dems don't do anything or have anyone who might misbehave to balance out any negativity around moore. Yeh, I know you are going to tout their purging conyers and franken- but those are situations where they know they will end out with a replacement dem. Let's see their high and mighty ethics when it might cause them to lose a seat.

And then you have Pelosi who didn't even want to move conyers out until she had to cave. yeh, those are deep-rooted values right there.

Now that the accusations of the 14 year old "victim" have fallen apart as well. All the other "victims" of Moore were above the legal age of consent. His behavior as a 30 year old man attempting to date teenagers may be creepy but not illegal.

Please keep in mind I still believe that his past behavior, if true, should disqualify him from office. However the "if true" part is falling apart week after week.

Eh, to be fair the Washington Post story doesn’t include the lady with Gloria Allred. So, you may have gotten some cover and are all gleeful but Moore is still a perv child molester.

None of his activities meet the legal definition of illegal activity or being a child molester. So you are making assertions that have no factual basis.

Do I want a creepy older guy near my teenage daughter? No

Does dating younger women above the age of consent make a guy a child molester? No
