Roy Moore is a perfect example of why the MSM should not engage in 1 sided journalism

Once again, I never once stated the paper was peer reviewed. The text of the article stated the paper was peer reviewed. I posted the article because it had a link to the paper.

You need to learn the difference between a poster making an assertion, and the text from a quoted article. Your failure to understand the difference -- then your constant harping on your false assertions is insulting to reasonable people.

I will not make the distinction if you CHOOSE to copy paste the article and it's assertions. You posted it as a fact and you were unaware that it was a lie till I pointed it out. If you do not wish to be associated with words that are published under your nick, then stop posting them or post a disclaimer or at least DON'T copy paste the parts that you aren't sure of.

We will hold you responsible for every word of the article content that you post then..

I am polite enough to other posters to spend the time to cut/paste the first few paragraphs of an article so other readers can determine if they desire to go to the link and read the entire article (with a "More at above url" indicator at the bottom). This does not mean that I necessarily agree or disagree with every word of the content of the article. In fact I have posted articles in ET to open debate on topics where I completely disagreed with most of the content of the article.

Your assertions that a poster should be held responsible for every word of any article they post as if it was their own personal assertions is absurd.

Maybe you need to learn some basics regarding proper internet etiquette and stop being abusive to others.

I will not go on a wild goose chase. Thank you.

I have exgoper on ignore for all the reasons you state.

Thanks for that, I would hate it if people like you started replying to me and cause me more rage from all the absolute bullshit I have to endure trying to simply talk a bit of politics. There is no politics here, but a display of absolute dumbassery from peabrains without any respect for truth or logic.

Yes, I am responsible for EVERY word that I quote from an article, I won't be quoting something if I wouldn't want to be responsible for it. I even make up my own titles when I don't agree with the titles.

As usual, you are resorting to a strawman to defend the indefensible, nobody said that you are responsible for every word of someone else, you are responsible for every word that you CHOSE to quote.

Expecting basic standards of conversation is not being abusive, you are trying to have it both ways by denying responsibility for your own posts.

I have never placed anyone on ignore yet. I am beginning to get a feeling that there may soon be a first - which is sad.
It takes a lot for me to do it, as I always like to entertain other people's thoughts - even if I don't agree with them. But there is a justifiable limit.

I am open to debate and desire to learn other's point of views. I especially enjoy discovering new information in the way of articles, etc. -- even if I don't agree with the point of view. Even with topics such as climate change I appreciate it when an AGW supporter posts an in-depth analysis of new information. One of the primary reasons I spend time involved in this forum is for the learning experience and to open my mind.

Sadly, I agree at some point there needs to be a limit on not supporting absurdly poor behavior in the forum.
