ya, don't mention it

Technically beautiful BOPB on the 1-min chart.![]()
Hi Nodoji,
Do you mind posting a chart to illustrate? Also I can't really see what you are referring to regarding the 2 swing lows for the hourly chart.
Thanks.
Out CL 49.15, +2.05
Holding two short OVX
Those lines are very subjective in real-time but great in ad hocSure, here ya go. The charts are Pacific Time.
As for the turning point on CL (first chart), I was trading to the long side from the open because I'm a day trader and will trade any direction that makes sense on a 5-min chart (a swing trader would be short or looking for shorts in CL and a 5-min chart would likely be noise). However, my profit target zone was around that LTL which also coincided with an earlier range low, so basically I expected previous support to become resistance, at least for a while.
On the Nasdaq short (the chart is QQQ's) I was targeting a break through the descending lower channel line for lows into the close, but that did not happen and the trade was scratched when the second attempt down resulted in price turning up off a higher low.

Nitro, how does an algo make a silly mistake??Out CL 44.01, - 3.61. A silly mistake cost me an extra dollar in losses.
Holding two short OVX.
I changed the way I exit unit 1 (stop loss) and I copied and pasted code and forgot to change a constant. That would have cost more than a dollar had I not puzzled over why it didn't get out when it should have.Nitro, how does an algo make a silly mistake??
