That's not really my philosophy. It's more that winning is more important than philosophical consistency. Politics is fully tribal now in this country. The only people who don't get that or who are forbidden to act on it are ordinary white people. Biased social media censorship is a perfect example. True conservatives sigh and " it's unfortunate but they are a private business." Woke conservatives say "we will not allow them to silence us."
ABC owns ESPN. Jemele Hill, a black studio host, tweeted far worse about President Trump. She got a mild rebuke after a second offense. Roseanne's point was the Jarrett is an islam promoting fierce black woman. All of which happens to be true. A sarcastic comment about a shadowy Obama figure gets the star of the top-rated show cancelled. No bias there, just doing what had to be done. Can't have these TV stars thinking they can express their own opinions.
In this case, ABC has every right to cancel a series for any reason. It's stupid, because Rosanne will be viewed as a martyr and will surface on Fox or somewhere. You have to tweet a lot worse than what she did when you are the top-rated star on TV.
I am sorry but do you understand how institutional racism even works? Is orange hair a symbol for all white people? Did blacks commit unmentionable atrocities and subjugated orange haired people for centuries? So what the hell are you talking about?
She was probably in the bag after a long weekend of boozing and was drunk twittering plus that show was going down the toilet any how.
