Paul parroted the terrorists rationale for 911 as laid out in the 9/11 Report and by Senior CIA Terror Officials.
Rudy called his comments absurd.
The implication - Rudy never read the report.
OR fancies himself more learned on the roots of 911 then the CIA or the 911 Commission.
Which is more likely? No brainer.
Well, Ratboy already answered the question for me - he extrapolated.......
Also, RP is also in concert with what OBL himself has said, in general about what he wants to do to the west, what he said in his proclamation of jihad, etc.......
To state that RG doesn't know what the 9/11 Commission Report says is patently absurd. That's the no-brainer. He used the oppurtunity to spin RP's statement to make him look like he blames the US for 9/11. It was quick thinking - politics at its' finest.
It was an on the spot hit piece by RG to make RP look like a fool, and to make him look like a guy unskilled enough to be Prezzzz.
So - which is more likely?
Your scenario, where Rudy doesn't know what the 9/11 report says...
or
Rudy DOES know, and used Paul's statement for political gain when he saw the oppurtunity to make another guy look foolish, and more importantly, make a stir during the debate that makes him look better...

i'll be honest... i had no idea how much effect us ron paul supporters were having on the american people. i think the combination of 9/11 crumbling and this amnesty crap is really starting to wake up mainstream republicans. it really is amazing to actually witness these old media monopolies panicking. they hate ron paul and his freedoms... tells you who the real terrorist were all along.
