Here are my terms:
1) I've already sent RCG some documentation. If his say will suffice, write the apology you offered and we'll move on. But if you want respect or camaraderie from me you need to give some.
2) If that won't do then I nominate Magna (no-nonsense moderator) as judge, jury and executioner and respectfully ask that he take this on as a fellow veteran. I'll prove to HIS satisfaction I'm a combat veteran and served honorably, even if it means bringing a notarized copy of my DD214 to a local attorney of HIS choice that I'll pay for. And likewise you prove to HIS satisfaction that you honorably served on active duty in the Marines for eight years. Whoever fails the test agrees in advance to be banned for life. No apology required if we both pass but are YOU "man enough" do the right thing and write one that's sincere anyway? That's my offer that I shouldn't have to make. Period. Take it or STFU.

But, I was supposed to have trained at leonard wood. Because of my MOS and my ASVAB, I was sent to Benning. A backhanded honor some would say, because BCT everywhere else is 8 weeks. At Benning, it is 12. They assume you will see combat.

I will tell you a story. I once ran a Methadone clinic. It is for Heroin addicts. I had a Marine in my clinic. He became an addict because he did his job and swept a house in Iraq. He killed one woman and four children. He was never the same. The military cleaned it up, but he could not. When he found out I was a medic, he told me his story. He bawled.
Now you can say I am a bold faced liar, but RCG's Girl will tell you that I ran a Methadone clinic, because she is in recovery. Now if any of you PM her, please show this entire post. I'll accept what he has offered you as proof. I still have my reservations for reasons previously stated but in the interest of putting this to bed I'll accept it. It may not be to my satisfaction but to be quite honest, this thread needs to die a natural death already. We have much bigger fish to fry with the GOP Nomination now underway.

Stop all the name calling because if there is one thing we can probably agree on, America is in serious trouble right now.
