There is no such thing as "noncombat troops". The troops there are getting shot at and attacked with IEDs just as they have since they first occupied Iraq. Labeling troops in a war zone "noncombat" is like saying that the war in Libya does not require congressional authorization because we didn't put troops on the ground. Yes, Obama has made this argument. By Obama's reasoning we could nuke a country and it wouldn't be a war. What a first class asshole.

When Obama tells a blatant lie that 50,000 troops in a war zone are somehow not "combat troops" you defend him. If George W. Bush stated the same sort of nonsense you have no trouble calling him a liar.
