I don't believe in fundamentalist thinking when it comes to religion or politics...
Just because someone thinks their take on the Constitution or the Bible is the right take, doesn't make it right.
Sorry, but the daddy that wrote the Bible and the founding fathers aren't here any more to clear up the presiding confusion...
That leaves thinking people to figure it out for themselves...

If a book of rules was so simple and straightforward, we would not need lawyers or a legal system...
