The are in shock... they thought by now the news would be getting better but its getting worse.
The idea that obama has lost 15 to 20 points of Independents is mind boggling.
There is almost nothing Obama can do to get those Independents back.

A Romney win with a republican congress will be GW all over again. Hope Romney does a better job against terrorist than our last republican president did. And you know the unfunded preemptive wars are soon to follow. That's a trademark of republican chicks hawks.

If Romney wins I hope I'm wrong too. It seems in recent history the only time congress and the president weren't totally dysfunctional is when the power was split and they were forced to work together. That's what I'm thinking might happen if Obama wins. Both sides get drunk with power when they don't have the other side to keep them in check. I was being totally sarcastic about the protecting us from terrorist, I think either man would do their best in this area.
I don't think Obama is as bad as what you're thinking and the risk of a straight republican congress and president is much much too great a risk for our country to take. Romneys saber rattling alone is cause to reconsider voting for him. I think he is talking out his ass like he always does but what if he follows through on his forgein policy plan. I do hope Obama gets tough and kicks his ass. Romney is Bush but without the compassion. For all of Bush's screw ups he did give a shit about people, even the working poor. Bush was a good man who was in over his head and misguided. Romney isn't a good man.
