Romney Looks Like the Next Pres

Quote from Tsing Tao:

This is, what I believe, to be the biggest error in the democrat calculation. The Republican base is energized - not because of Romney, but because of the chance to get rid of Obama.

You are completely incorrect (in my opinion). People will show up to vote ABO, much in the same way they voted for any republican regardless of quality in the 2010 congressional elections.

Didn't you, yourself, say the very same thing on what your intent is come elections?

Given the two choices, I'd rather see Romney elected.
I won't be voting for him, as millions will not be voting for him also.
We gonna have to disagree concerning the republicans being energized.
I think nothing is further from the truth.
Some of us are going to be greatly surprised come election results time.
I hope it's me.

I hope it is you too, my friend.

Is there anybody here who is betting money on Romney?
Personally, I only bet on a near sure thing, like the 2008 election.
This time, so far, I just can't see very good odds either way.

Quote from PHOENIX TRADING:

Because obama is a shit sandwich between a slice of salmonella on one side and HIV on the other.

Don't worry. You can't catch HIV twice.

I bet Atticus $100, but that's it. Atticus drinks $100 cans of beer, so it won't mean anything to him if he wins. But if I win, I will have the satisfaction of actually being on the winning side of a trade with Atticus and will instantly put it in my signature (which doesn't show unless I become a sponsor anyway, so maybe I can use my winnings to buy one day of sponsorship on ET and make 50,000 posts to brag about it).

If you get in a bind, holler at me, brother Tao.
I might be able to ship you a low interest loan around the first of the month.
LOL

Hah...$100 is not that big of a deal :)

Besides, I could just go to the Bank of Atticus to borrow at the discount window.

Quote from mrbill:

OK, Romney did really well. Going forward now, I have a question for you guys.

I was asked to check the European betting sites about Obama and Romney.

I came up with this, but not sure I'm reading it right.

Are they saying that if you bet $4 you get back $5 on Obama, and if you bet $4 you get back $11 - is that right?

AK? Anyone?

Shit, forgot to post the link. http://www.oddschecker.com/specials...us-presidential-election/republican-candidate

Am I reading this correctly?

Also, since it's been a great trading day, I've been too busy to check ET much, but just did. Only to see about 10 threads all devoted to this one day, one news cycle victory for Romney. We get it guys, Romney beat Obama, last night, enjoy the sunshine for a day or two.

Can't say as I blame you though, after all, the Romney team has had a horrible campaign to suffer through. Enjoy the day.
