Romney Looks Like the Next Pres

Quote from mrbill:

OK then, I understand that you know Romney is the obvious loser. Fair enough. As a real trader, I just have to exploit the edges when I see them.

You arrogantly presume too much. I do NOT know Romney will lose, I hope he wins. And I don't even particularly care for him. I just don't see it as "obvious" or a sure thing so to speak. One way or the other. I think most of the polls are intentionally skewed to favor Obama by the media/pollsters most of whom favor Obama. I'm thinking the race may be closer than some of the more confident here think.

Quote from Ricter:

The thing is, you don't sound like a guy who is sure.

I am not sure... some unforeseeable things may happen between now and the election

My point is now.. Romney is leading if you your poll is using proper samples.

There is just not enough info on the state polls for me to say much. I click and get nothing about actual samples most of the time.

And all the pollsters know, none of this gets serious until after the conventions.

In 2008 Intrade and some polls like NBC /WSJ had Obama winning as early as March 2008(While Rasmussen had McCain winning)

But they're from your beloved Rasmussen

Well you might know, maybe not, what traders think of traders who hope instead of following the obvious. Skewed polls, and all that crap are a nice way to say that you have hope. And, maybe you do. But, obviously, yes obviously, there is no bet at this time for Romney.

They're behind the eight ball at this point. And, I'm usually not the kind to rub faces in stuff, but with all their lies and bs, and unwillingness to even make a charity bet, sort of shows their true colors. Not red or blue, but yellow I guess. Not nice, sorry for that.

My tea party friends, and even a couple of neocon Obama haters, have pretty much given up. They now prefer to focus on the House and Senate races. They'll toss Romney under the bus because no one really wants him to win on his merits or anything else for that matter.

We can only hope that Hilary is healthy enough to run. She has really worn herself out working these last few years. And, to get Bill back, who has really become an excellent elder statesman. Another 8 years after Obama would be nice.
