I'd say Mitt needs a 10 - 15 point lead in multiple polls before Ann can start ordering the White House drapes

WASHINGTON — Democrat nominee Bill Clinton held a 15-point lead over President Bush among voters nationwide as the presidential race headed into the Labor Day weekend, according to a CNN-USA Today poll released Thursday. The survey showed 54 percent for Clinton and running mate Al Gore Jr. to 39 percent for the Republican ticket of Bush and Vice President Dan Quayle with 7 percent undecided. The poll by the Gallup Organization was based on telephone interviews Aug. 31 to Sept. 2 with 1,007 registered voters and had a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

you like playing the switch the poll game. in the shaded polls... they each had one that may have been outside the margin of error. those other polls were a long time ago. Probably before the unemployment number and one that is far closer now.

I only care about the polls who do not over sample democrats.
 
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows Mitt Romney attracting 47% of the vote, while President Obama earns 45%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and another four percent (4%) are undecided.

Matchup results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update).

Romney now leads in North Carolina and Missouri. Obama leads in Pennsylvania and Michigan. The race is a toss-up in Wisconsin, Iowa, Ohio, Virginia, Florida and Colorado.

The report showing the collapse of household net worth isn’t news to most Americans. They have experienced the decline day after day for the last five years. In his weekly syndicated newspaper column, Scott Rasmussen notes that “consumers rate their personal finances the same as they did on the day President Obama was inaugurated. If that doesn't improve by November, there's likely to be a new president in January.”
