Romney IS Bush, for all intents and purposes. Since Romney's policies would be little more than an extrapolation of Bush's policies, Romney would arguably have had less to show. He will not likely get the Independent vote.

You can cut and paste youtube debates from 2008 all ya want. There is absolutely no comparison between that scenario and what Obama is going into. None whatsoever. Now, you can speculate on what may possibly happen (and you do and will) but comparing the 2008 McCain/Obama debates to a future debate where Obama is the incumbent and has not delivered on most of his promises is a totally different scenario.

Take away the aspect of how you feel Obama will do. Can't you admit that? Or are you so far gone as to think they are similar?
