Romney Looks Like the Next Pres

wow I spend a few days moving a little south to and all of a sudden I see real bets from guys I would expect to pay off.

this could be entertaining.
If 10 large can be arbed with intrade... I'd bet on obama too.
But, if anyone here has taken a bet on intrade?

1. Is it legal?
2. Can they back away?

Exactly, that is how jake gets busted every weekend. He creates an alt, makes like two posts upstairs, and then comes straight here. No, the banning for a month is better and it will be way more fun:D

Maybe you missed the point where Joe said he'd have nothing to do with it.

So I really don't see the difference between the jerk who makes a money bet and doesn't pay vs. the jerk who makes a "I'll stay away for a month" bet and doesn't own up.

People join trading sites to spam business, or to learn to trade. Why come down here to get verbally abused?

Only the vets and ghosts come down here.

intrade is legit and AFAIK has never failed to payout on a binary. I could arb the action at <40/100, but what's the point for lunch money? I have an intrade account but have placed no action on either candidate.

hey troll you are right for once. he posted the intrade link after the bet though, so he got me. BUT I'm only in for $100 so I really don't care. fool me once, shame on you.. I honestly have never used or really looked at intrade, maybe i will bet some Romney, he just looks too good this low and I do expect the healthcare law to be killed in court at the very least, which has to hurt obama. Romney >obama at some point before the election no matter what imo.

Oh and a "dumb" money bet on a US election huh? If you are so confident that obama is going to win - why don't you bet? :p
