Republican dream society is very patriarchal. You tip your head to the rich and call them sir, everyone knows their place(women, poor, minorities) and nobody gets too uppity. I say fuck that. Just because someone won the vagina lottery and popped out of a rich one does not make them a person to be worshiped.
Where would this country be if US government only concerned itself with giving tax breaks to people who are already rich? US would never progress beyond windmills and hand spun tailoring. Progress is made by creating new stuff on top of stuff you already have. Just as google guys did not give two shits about bill gates's tax cuts, neither should you.
A simple mental exercise to combat trickle down economics. If you are a cashier for burger king, do you care if burger king corporations sales increased tenfold? The answer is no because you are still going to be paid a cashier salary. Your work is not skilled and easily replaced. Now how about if you are the CEO of burger king do you care? Yes you would immensely because you would get a huge bonus and salary increase. But the people who would benefit the most are the people who own it outright.
Just as you will never become well fed jumping through dumpsters of a local five star restaurant, you will never become rich in this world unless you position yourself in the stream of commerce where a good chunk of money goes through you.
