To be accurate the polls should reflect the big independent group.
But most polls just keep the 7-1 to 11 point difference and sample a lot of dems and repubs but under sample independents. Which is a great trick for Obama but not so good for prediction.
Why, because we can see many of these new Independents were former Republicans and lean Republican when asked.
