J jem Sep 20, 2012 #23 as you start to understand polling.. you realize to predict victory all you have to do is predict turnout and sample independents... why? because similar precentage of Rs and Ds vote with their party... normally. its like 93 percent. So with Is... Romney is ahead or tied... so what you are saying is you think more Ds. will show up than Rs. I do not think so.
